Changes to my study programme

I would like to change many things in my study program and in the faculty, I feel that many changes are needed in many areas.

In the Design career, I would like to see technical drawing classes added, since it´s such an important skill for any designer. I would like them to add planimetry classes, these could be electives since they´re useful in industrial design.

Regarding the schedule we have, it should be reduced since the classes last many hours (4-5 hours), it is very tiring and you don´t always learn enough. We have little time for ourselves since at the end of classes we must continue doing work or homework for the university.

The academic load is a very important issue, students are always under great stress, we have many jobs, many classes, little time and teachers don´t always take into consideration that some of us live alone and we have housework, we all have personal problems, we also want to have time to socialize, distract ourselves and have fun.

Something characteristic of the FAU is its poor infrastructure and how little is invested in it. Sometimes the conditions in which we study are very poor and demotivating. We have a small casino, few tables to eat. There are few shady places, few trees and green areas. There is only one court and it is in poor condition. The tables are in poor condition. There is no heating in winter and no ventilation in summer.

Although there´s a printing and computer center, you have to pay to print, in my case, as a design student, we spend a lot of money printing jobs.

More technology is needed in the faculty, such as water dispensers, food dispensers, air conditioning, etc.

Regarding teaching, there are teachers who are not very empathic and very selfish, they think that we only have time to dedicate ourselves to that class, they send us many assignments and give us little time.
